At Rhoam, we love working with independent businesses and creatives who are passionate about what they do. Recently, we had the privilege of supporting The Bird’s Nest Consultancy (again!) with the launch of something very special - a children’s storybook written by Becca.

Marvin the Monkey with a Lot of Courage is an illustrated tale that gently explores themes of worry, bravery, and finding strength in small steps. Written to support children’s emotional wellbeing and mental health, it’s perfect for shared bedtime reading or as a comforting gift.
Why this project mattered
For Becca, this book is more than words and pictures. It’s a resource designed to support children and families through big feelings, showing little ones that courage comes in many shapes and sizes.
For us at Rhoam, this project was about more than design, it was about honouring Becca’s vision and shaping it into a book that children and families can read, share, and learn from together.
Our role
We worked together to:
Shape the book’s visual identity so the story felt as warm and approachable as Marvin himself and stayed within the existing brand.
Design and lay out the pages in a way that made the text easy to follow and the illustrations shine.
Prepare files for professional print to ensure colour accuracy, quality, and a finish that does justice to the story.
Deliver a tangible, ready-to-share book that beautifully complements Becca’s handmade crochet Marvin.
Bringing Playfulness into Print: A Where’s Wally?-Style Poster
Alongside Marvin’s storybook, we also worked on something extra special: a playful Where’s Wally?-style poster. The idea was to create an engaging piece that children could return to again and again, spotting details, characters, and surprises hidden throughout the design.
This project let us combine creativity with interaction - not just a flat image, but a piece of print that encourages exploration and sparks conversation. Posters like these become more than decoration; they’re tools for learning, calming busy minds, or simply adding joy to a child’s space.

Looking ahead
Projects like this remind us why Rhoam exists: to help independent businesses and creatives turn ideas into experiences that reach people where it matters most.
👏 Huge congratulations to Becca on launching Marvin the Monkey with a Lot of Courage. We can’t wait to see how Marvin inspires courage in children everywhere.
