From Vision to Virtual: Launching the 360reveal Website

360reveal, founded by Clare Wiseman, is a new business specialising in 360° photography and virtual tours for businesses in Gloucestershire. The aim of the project was to create a bright, light, flowing website that would clearly showcase services, explain the benefits of different packages, and provide a confident, professional online presence from launch.
The Brief
360reveal needed a website that could:
Highlight the three core services: Virtual Tour, Virtual Visit, and Virtual Boost.
Incorporate a blog for articles demonstrating the advantages of 360° photography in clear, customer-friendly terms.
Provide transparent pricing without overwhelming visitors with unnecessary technical detail.
Equip the founder with tools and training to manage the website independently.
Establish a visual identity with a purple brand accent and an expanded, harmonious colour palette.
Deliver a fully responsive design for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Ensure fast loading times for a smooth user experience.
The Work
Structure and Content
The website was built with a clear, intuitive structure:
Home: an engaging video hero with strong visuals showcasing 360° capabilities across multiple industries, supported by clear calls to action.
Cohesive Service Pages: detailed explanations of each package, outlining features, benefits, and real-world examples.
Pricing Page: bespoke package comparison tables and a property size guide, created using Markdown with custom CSS for clarity.
Blog: a dedicated space for future thought leadership and updates in 360° photography.
FAQ Page: adding SEO value by addressing common customer questions.
Mailing List Sign-Up: enabling future audience growth and customer retention.
SEO Foundations: meta tags, basic optimisation, and a Google Tag embed for analytics.
Custom Holding Page: to support pre-launch communications.
Legal Compliance: Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy pages.
Platform Choice
Squarespace was selected as the platform for 360reveal because it balances professional design with ease of management. Its intuitive editor allows quick updates to text, images, and layouts without the need for coding, while still offering the flexibility to add custom CSS for more advanced styling. The platform also provides reliable hosting, built-in SEO tools, responsive templates, and integrated features such as mailing list sign-ups and analytics. As part of the setup, a custom domain was connected for the main site and a subdomain configured to link with the client’s 360° tour hosting platform, ensuring a seamless and professional user experience.
Technical Development
A key part of the build was embedding 360° iframes from 360reveal’s hosting platform.
These were configured to:
Scale seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile, including more challenging devices.
Maintain a modern, professional appearance with styled wrappers, rounded corners, and subtle shadows.
Deliver a consistent user experience in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Custom CSS and responsive media queries were applied to ensure reliable performance across all devices.
A custom floating WhatsApp button was added, giving visitors a quick way to open a chat directly with 360reveal, helping to turn interest into enquiries with minimal friction.
Pricing Clarity
Early drafts included highly detailed breakdowns of MP4 creation, resizes, and per-photo pricing. To avoid overwhelming customers, the website now presents:
Clear package comparisons with visual tables.
Property size estimates to set expectations upfront.
Detailed breakdowns kept as internal guides, available for quoting when required.
Branding and Design
The design makes use of digital-friendly purples, greys, and accent colours. The overall look balances:
Clean layouts with ample white space.
Colour-coded tables to distinguish packages.
A straightforward visual hierarchy for easy navigation.
Visual assets were refined and enhanced using Adobe software - After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator - to create engaging visuals, graphics, and showcase 360° appearances in a professional and eye-catching way.
Training and Handover
To ensure 360reveal could manage the site independently, a comprehensive handover pack was delivered alongside in-person training sessions. These covered:
Blog publishing, including text, images, categories, tags, and excerpts.
Page management - adding, editing, hiding, and drafting pages.
Menu and navigation adjustments.
SEO settings such as titles, descriptions, slugs, and alt text.
Image replacement, button updates, and embedding iframes.
Best practice tips for optimising images, writing meta descriptions, and checking layouts on mobile before publishing.

Pricing tables that are simple, mobile-friendly, and easy to understand.

Independence for the founder to manage and grow the site.
